I have always doodled since I was a kid. Growing up with dyslexia I used this creative form to help me to focus and relieve anxiety. Although I feel that I have been an artist all of my life, drawing was never a medium I added to my professional art career, mainly because I never saw it as art but as therapy. When I went to art school, I found myself surrounded by, in my mind, the most masterful illustrators. My doodles could never stand up to them, I concluded. I stopped drawing for over 15 years. other than the odd quick sketch for other creative concepts. Very few people ever saw my doodles so when I started again, they were not only elated but encouraged me to show them. It took a bit but gradually I started to post them, and to my surprise they were received with great enthusiasm. I even found the courage to let some of them go to good homes. STRAIGHT OUT OF MY SKETCHBOOK.
Many Thanks to Everyone for your heart felt support.
